  • Gave away all the copies printed
  • Every happy with content and production
  • Miscomunication resulted in more expensive print run than expected and spent most of the SIG funds
  • Will need new sponsors to print in the future
  • No plans yet for next issue other than planning meeting scheduled for two weeks from today

Whitepaper Update

Dave Rohrl

  • White paper is done and published
  • Dave is working on getting Gamasutra to republish some parts of whitepaper on Gamsutra
  • Casual Connect and Gamasutra also interested in republishing part from quarterly and or whitepaper
  • PR: Dave will connect with Eddie at MS to try to get press release sent
  • Several e-mails praising white paper
  • No replies from people willing to lead future whitepaper spinoffs
  • Alex will work on getting contributors for social gaming

  • Developer Publisher Attribution put on hold for independent work (non-IGDA) on problem of Lifecycle management

  • Dave will Ask group for what the sig can do
  • Dave will also ask Jessica for her thoughts on how IGDA can serve developers differently than how CGA serves casual industry
  • Dave will send call for new steering committee members in May/June
  • James will ask mailing list for interest level in roundtable session
