White Paper Update

- Print for Casual Connect
--Deadline for sending to print is Tuesday. The final printed versions will be sent to Wade's hotel.

ACTION ITEMS:
--Wade: let everyone know how much space we have to finalize layout on Saturday. At this time, we expect 1/2 - 2 pages of space.
--Margaret: Will create a call to action / WP insert for the printed quarterly. It may be based on last year's insert, which was sent by Brian in real time.
--Wade: Check with Jessica to see if we can insert the white paper in the goody bags. Another alternative is to hand them out during the IGDA session.

Data Royalty Reporting Standards Initiative

  • James G.

-DIDN'T DISCUSS IN JAMES' ABSENSE-

--Playfirst found some issues with Adjustments, COGS, prepaid royalties. James will send out an updated schema to active partners.
--Real will be delayed in its deployment of the XLM standard due to a larger, company-wide royalty system overhaul.

  • Sponsorships - IGDA has received all monies
    • RealArcade, Riddler.com, PopCap Games, Somatone Interactive Audio (received in this order)
    • Waiting for text/image assets

ACTION ITEMS: --JASON: Sponsors should be displayed in the order that their bids were received.
--JASON: Need assets by friday from the sponsors.
--JASON: Will invite Riddle contact to an event to thank him for his participation.


  • HTML emails
    • Thanks to Margaret for design/build
    • Jason deployed two which resulted in additional sponsorship bids and committee nominations

--Ideas: Calls for participation in the next quarterly, announcement of new committee members

  • Steering Committee selection

--James suggested the concept of term limits to ensure we don't stagnate as a group. Three years was the term suggested.
--Nominations are due by 13 July.
--Including ourselves less James G., nominees so far are: Dave Rohrl (nominated himself), Rex Sikora (PopCap, nominated by James G.)
