IGDA Boston
International Game Developers Association
The IGDA Boston chapter is more commonly known as the Boston Post Mortem. This is because the chapter is actually older than the IGDA itself, and the old name stuck around.

A Typical Meeting
Boston Post Mortem meetings tend to be more focused on the social aspect than other chapter meetings. This is probably because there's always beer and food available for purchase (or sometimes free!). Usually there's a speaker or a panel booked, and the topics can range from an actual post mortem to sex in games to academia/industry issues.
Logistics
Typically, the Post Mortem is held on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of each month at The Skellig, an Irish pub in Waltham, MA. The event starts at 7:00PM, with a talk starting at 8:00PM.
For up-to-date information, always check the Boston Post Mortem official website.
