International Game Developers Association

The first IGDA Singapore meeting of 2006 was held on Thursday, 26th January at the MICA Building, courtesy of MDA (http://www.mda.gov.sg). More than 80 folks showed up!

The following speakers were featured:

• David Kwok, Chairman of the Singapore Animators Connection
• Allan Simonsen, Chairman of IGDA Singapore
• Aroon Tan, CEO of 10Tacle Studios (Asia Pacific)

The first IGDA Singapore game development survey also kicked off at this meeting, with an associated lucky draw, with two free prizes for the participants. All answers would be held strictly confidential.

Chinese New Year was right around the corner, so the room was decorated festively.

Danien Chee and Allan Simonsen, members of the IGDA Singapore steering committee, are no doubt pleased with the attendance.

The traditional post-meeting gathering is held at Brewerkz, with a nice view of the Singapore River.

Allan draws himself a pint while Siddarth Jain (Playware Studios) converses with the wait staff. Something to the left caught the eye of Loh Shanming (NTU gameLAB).
