This was the first meeting of the new committee, since GDC.
New chair for 2007/2008: Elonka Dunin

GDC followup
Party organized by James Hursthouse was a success.
The party brought in approximately 250 attendees. 51 RSVPs were received from the mailing list, and the rest were generated by sponsors or word-of-mouth.
Main costs:
- Food: $500
- Drinks: $5,000
Hursthouse obtained approximately $7,000 in funding from sponsors, and came in under budget (good job, James!). Extra funds are being made available for future SIG projects.
Attendance concerns
It was agreed that stricter rules about attendance at the conference calls will be enforced. If there are two unnotified/unjustified absences, that member of the committee may be removed from the group.
- Absent members -- Larry Mellon, Peter Freese -- will be contacted and reminded about next month's meeting (Elonka)
Projects for 2007/2008
The primary focus will be a Whitepaper project, which will:
- Collate information from previous White Papers into this wiki
- Update the information
- Be announced at the Austin Game Conference
- Have a hardcopy 8-page summary document, to be handed out at the Austin Game Conference
James Hursthouse will run a session on the paper at a conference in May.
Jonathan Greechan volunteered to handle the press release when it's ready.

Update the wiki pages with the new committee membership (Elonka) - Suggest new SIG members. Names will be sent to Elonka by the first week of April, for discussion at the April conference call (Gordon, Jonathan)
- Send out email this week to potential White Paper contributors (James)
- James will organize a conference call next week to organize the White Paper effort, with potential follow-up calls every two weeks.
April
By April 18, James Hursthouse will provide:
- A list of WP contributors
- A synopsis/skeleton for the WP
- A list of who is assigned to which section
- A schedule for completion
- Suggestions for what to call it (White Paper, Almanac, Industry Bible, etc.)
Other items
- James has registered the http://ogsig.org domain, primarily for a mailing list. Going to that domain redirects to the IGDA wiki: http://www.igda.org/wiki/index.php/Online_Games_SIG
- A volunteer is needed to update/reorganize/prettify the Online Games wiki page
