SIG Administrators

  • Brenda Brathwaite - Chair and founder of the IGDA's Sex SIG. The Sex SIG serves the members of the adult content community and the unique issues and challenges it faces. Due to its nature, it also finds itself discussing censorship, ratings and parental ratings education quite a bit.
  • Sheri Pocilujko - Chair and founder of Quality Assurance SIG. We're a not highly active group but we're making headway. One of our challenges is that those in QA are either the ones most in crunch (and less likely to have hours to spend on initiatives) or the most likely to move into another discipline (in which case we lose their help entirely sometimes).
  • Tom Edwards - Chair and founder of the Localization SIG. The Localization SIG exists to help foster community within the growing number of people in the localization field who are devoted solely or primarily to games. We also aim to raise awareness of key localization issues for non-loc functions within the industry. The group was founded in June 2007 and will be announced in Sept. 2007; i.e., we're still in the formative stage.

SIG Websites

Not all SIGs use blogs as their main website format so we all have to adjust to the intricacies of having your own look and feel. We'll also have to deal with the migration to the new web technology as well.
