Meeting Notes:


Team Objectives:

  • 1)WHAT:
    • a.Goal: A teacher/scout leaders/PTA president picks up their newsletter/opens their email and see’s a blurb on our program so goes to the website
  • 2) HOW:
    • a.Contact national or regional organizations with large populations to:
      • i. Make them aware of our program
      • ii. Ask them to make their constituents aware of our program via their websites, newsletters and organizer resources
  • 3)WHEN:
    • a. Ask them to Time newsletters and emails to happen in Nov/Dec to coincide with hard public launch
    • b. Create path to ask for re-promote in less crowded spring window after the GDC (which will be a major industry recruitment event)

Calendar:

  • •10/1 – 10/11 – This group to recruit additional people willing to call 10-12 community organizations; write contact letter
  • •10/12 – Receive Contact Sheet from John; divide list
  • •10/15 – 10/30 – Contact organizations

Follow-ups:

  • 1)Ben B raised political communities. Donna will ask her press person about contacts and advice on how to handle. Nichol will contact ESA to find right staff person. Ben will follow-up with staff person and Nichol will follow-up with new president.
  • 2)Team will recruit people willing to call 10-12 organizations in 2 weeks to request the above.
  • 3)John’s group will develop the organization list
  • 4)Donna will touch base with John to make sure he has everything that he needs and to answer any questions
  • 5)Ben raised reaching gamers themselves. The PR team will handle game press to get print and web sites but using Live and other platforms like that is a good idea to explore.
