Students SIG/Volunteers

International Game Developers Association

Jump to: navigation, search

A list of volunteers involved in the revamping of the students SIG. This is here for organisational purposes, and is not definite, complete or necessarily up to date - will be torn down at some point and replaced with a proper project listing/assigned/working/active/people lists once things are formalised.

To volunteer, contact Andrew Armstrong, post on the mailing list, or just generally contact the IGDA. You do not have to be a student, as mentorship, alumni involvement and developer involvement are all greatly appreciated, and there is a lot of things that can be worked on by anyone!

Ken Bowen

I can offer

  • A) Proven student group activities, which I'd be happy to document and start discussions on
  • B) Mentorship for both students and club leaders who need help, I am a designer but I've been around long enough to help art and programmers to a certain extent, or point them in the right direction.
  • C) *some* industry perspective and, depending on location, local contacts to clubs
  • D) information gathering, like that survey, it won't be hard to compile some stats.
