Lennart Nacke
Lennart Nacke is a PhD Candidate in Digital Game Development at the Game and Media Arts Lab, Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden. He received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computational Visualistics from the University of Magdeburg, Germany, where he was awarded as best graduate for his thesis "Facilitating the Education of Game Development". His research focuses around psychophysiological studies of game experience and interactive media design, where his main interest is to find out what makes digital games engaging and fun (relating to constructs of flow, presence and immersion). Lennart has taught many game design and development courses for various Universities. Several of his Master's students took their first jobs in the games industry.
