== General ==

* Updated to version 1.10 of MediaWiki, the software behind this wiki
** Old version was 1.4 -- this was a major boost as MediaWiki has become much more stable and many great new extensions can now be installed
* URLs are now much shorter and cleaner
** Eliminated the "index.php?title=" from URLs

== Searching, browsing, and tracking ==

* [[Special:Recentchanges|Recent changes]] page can now be filtered by categories
* Hierarchical category display
** When looking at a category's page, sub-categories are now displayed as a hierarchy (ala Wikipedia)

== Look and feel ==

* The IGDA logo is now used as favicon for the wiki
** Very helpful for tabbed browsing
** A small "w" has been added the lower-right corner to distinguish pages from the main IGDA site from pages from the wiki

== User privileges and customization ==

* User-specific JavaScript is now allowed
** User:Username/monobook.js (where Username is your username) can now be edited to allow users to add any number of JavaScript-driven client-side tools to help them interact with the wiki
